Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was born December 7, 1963, in Edo State in Nigeria. He was raised in a religious family with loving, committed parents. She passed on her divine grace to her son at an early age.

The LoveWorld ministry is a joint effort of the family. Reverend Ken, his brother, is the revered pastor of Christ Embassy’s Houston Texas Church and a member on Christ Embassy Central Executive Council. KattyWorghiren serves as the director of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry(LMAM) which is where numerous gospel artists are among the top-selling artists worldwide.

Pastor Chris is the father of two daughters: Carissa Sharon (Charlene) and Chris. Carissa Sharon, also known by CSO, has chosen to follow the footsteps of her father and share the gospel of God the world. She is a gifted, award-winning gospel singer and a member of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Family.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome started his studies at Edo College. After a grant was made to pursue a degree in the field of architecture at Bendel State University (now Ambrose Ali University) He was awarded the BSc degree in Architecture as well as an honorary Doctor of Science. He also holds an honorary doctorate in divinity from the Benson Idahosa University. Ambrose Ali University was his first university. He was called from God to join the ministry and serve the Lord.
