Chris Oyakhilome (Nigeria) is a television host, pastor and writer. He is the CEO and President of Believers’LoveWorld Incorporated and is also known as Christ Embassy International.

Chris Oyakhilome Background

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was born on 7 7 of December 1973, to Mr and Mrs Tim Oyakhilome, as the first son of the family. He finished his secondary and primary studies at Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma in Edo State, Nigeria. There he earned an BSc.

AAU also gave him an honorary Doctor of Science prize. He also has an honorary doctorate of divinity from Benson Idahosa University. Reverend Chris was married to Anita Obhodaghe once, and they have two children.

Chris Oyakhilome Ministry

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome started his ministry career while at AAU. The Believers’ LoveWorld fellowship was at the time known as Youths For Christ (YFC).

YFC was growing and eventually became the largest fellowship on campus. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy. Lagos is the church’s main office. Believer’s LoveWorld is now a global ministry with millions of followers and associates across the globe.

Through its 2002 atmosphere for miracles show, BLW was the most prominent Christian television ministry in Africa. They stopped airing the program in May of 2004, after the then President of Nigeria – President Olusegun Obasanjo announced that churches should not air miracles on the television.
