Chris Oyakhilome is a Nigerian pastor, a television host as well as an writer. He is the President of Believers’ LoveWorld Incorporated which is also called Christ Embassy International.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was the first child of the Oyakhilome family, and was born the 7th of December, 1973 to Tim Oyakhilome. After his first and second education, he attended Ambrose Alli University in Ekpoma (Edo State), Nigeria, where was awarded a BSc. in Architecture.
AAU also awarded him an honorary Doctor of Science Award. He also has an honorary Doctor of Science from Benson Idahosa University. Reverend Chris was married to Anita Obhodaghe once, and they have two children.

While still at AAU Pastor Chris Oyakhilome started his journey into the ministry. The Believers LoveWorld Fellowship (now Believers LoveWorld Incorporated) was at that time called Youths For Christ.
YFC expanded and was the largest of the fellowships on campus. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy. Lagos is the church’s headquarters. Believer’s LoveWorld is now a global ministry with thousands of followers and associates all across the globe.
Through the 2002 atmosphere for the miracles program, BLW rose to prominence as a Christian ministry on television in Africa. The program was canceled in the month of May 2004 when the president of the time, Nigeria – Olusegun Obasanjo announced that the country’s president had resigned Olusegun Obasanjo announced that churches should not air miracles on the television.

The foundation honors the young leaders by presenting them with awards named The Next African Leaders’ Awards. Held at the LoveWorld Convocation Arena in Billings Way (LCA), Oregun and Ikeja the ceremony is 5 years old. The InnerCity Mission for Children is an evangelical non-governmental Organisation (NGO). Pastor Chris Oyakhilome The NGO was founded in 2005 with the intention of helping the most vulnerable, the poorest orphaned, least fortunate children of the world..
Through sustainable and participatory interventions, the foundation assists these children and families in need. These include children’s development programs, including childcare, strengthening family programmes as well as InnerCity Mission for Children School.
Chris Oyakhilome Family Trauma Care International Foundation
The TraumaCare International Foundation was created in order to enhance health and life expectancy for the local community. They also support improved emergency response services when there are accidents or emergencies. The foundation will assist in implementing the national policies for trauma treatment by providing their advocacy, health education, and community-based initiatives.
The foundation has provided more than 1000 first-aid, safety, emergency response training. The foundation has also trained more than a thousand police officers, teachers as well as caregivers and road transportation workers.
