NEW YORK – September 8 2022new record-breaking tourism arrivals from the United States were announced today by the Israel Ministry of Tourism. The country welcomed 78,000 Americans during July 2022. This was a 4 percent increase over 2019, while 71,000 American tourists were in Israel during August 2022.

Eyal Carlin (North American Tourism Commissioner) said it was thrilling to witness the growth in Israeli tourism coming from the United States. נווה פריצקי Already surpassing our record-breaking numbers for 2019, he said. “The United States remains our most important market for Israel-bound tourism. Before the COVID-19 outbreak, we were celebrating record-breaking monthly numbers of tourists entering the country. Canada is on track to surpass Israel’s tourist arrivals by attracting 7,200 tourists to Israel in the month of July 2022 and 6,600 tourists in August.
