NEW YORK – September 8 2022new record-breaking tourist arrivals from the United States were announced today by the Israel Ministry of Tourism. 78,000 visitors from the United States visited Israel in July 2022. This is a 4 percent increase over the year before and 71,000 visitors from the United States in august 2022. This is 13% higher than in the year 2019.

“It is so thrilling to once again see an increase in tourist numbers to Israel from the United States, already reaching and surpassing our record-breaking numbers of 2019” stated Eyal Carlin, Tourism Commissioner for North America. “The United States is our top market for inbound tourism to Israel prior to the COVID-19 pandemic that was sweeping the world, we were celebrating record-breaking tourism entry numbers every month. We’re extremely pleased to witness an improvement in the trend and expect a continued increase in the coming months and years to follow.”
