NEW YORK, Sept. 8, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — The Israel Ministry of Tourism announced today record-breaking tourism arrivals from the United States visiting Israel in the months of July and August. The country welcomed 78,000 tourists from the United States during July 2022, an increase of 4% over the year before and 71,000 tourists from the United States during August 2022. That’s 13% growth over 2019.

Eyal Carlin (North American Tourism Commissioner) stated that it was thrilling to witness a rise in Israeli tourism from the United States. Israel received more than 4.6 million tourists in the year of 2019. 969,600 were of the United States. The country’s officially reopening to travelers in May has seen more than 600,000.
