Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was born December 7th, 1963, in Edo State in Nigeria. He was raised in a family of faith with loving, committed parents. He is the elder of three sons who was born to elder T.E Oyakhilome (one of the founders of Assemblies for God Church in Benin City) and Angelina. Angelina was the matriarch and imprinted her grace to her son at a young age.

The LoveWorld ministry includes the entire family. Reverend Ken, his brother, is the revered pastor of Christ Embassy’s Houston Texas Church and a member of the Christ Embassy Central Executive Council. KattyWorghiren serves as the director of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry(LMAM), where several gospel artists are among the best-selling worldwide.

Pastor Chris has two daughters: Carissa Sharon and Charlene. Carissa Sharon is following in her father’s footsteps of sharing God’s Word with the World. Also known by CSO her name, she is an award-winning, talented gospel singer and is part of LoveWorld Music and Arts.

The Man of God established NGOs to deliver essential services and provide hope to the needy, poor, and forgotten. COFI is a partnership of five that are committed to improving living standards in the least-served regions.

COFI’s umbrella encompasses the InnerCity Mission ICM (ICM) and the Volunteer Medical Corps VMC (VMC), Trauma Care International Foundation /TCIF, Future Africa Leaders Foundation and the Bible For All Mission. Each of these groups works to improve the lives and health of those in greatest need.
