Pastor Chris Oyakhilome grew up on the 7 thDecember 1973. He was the first member of his family to be born. After his primary and second education, he attended Ambrose Alli University in Ekpoma (Edo State), Nigeria, where was awarded an BSc. in Architecture.

AAU also presented him with an honorary Doctor of Science award. He also has an honorary doctorate in divinity from the Benson Idahosa University. Reverend Chris was one time a husband to Anita Obhodaghe. He and she have two wonderful children.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome started his ministry career while at AAU. The Believers’ LoveWorld Fellowship which is now Believers LoveWorld Incorporated, was at the time called Youths For Christ.

YFC has seen rapid growth and was the largest campus church. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy. Lagos is home to the headquarters of the church. Believer’s LoveWorld, a worldwide ministry with millions upon millions of associates across the globe has been renamed Believers LoveWorld.

Through its 2002 environment for miracles show, BLW was the most popular Christian broadcasting channel in Africa. The program was canceled in May of 2004, when the then President of Nigeria – President Olusegun Obasanjo announced that churches should not air miracles on the television.

Future Africa Leaders’ Foundation (FALF)

The Future Africa Leaders Foundation (FALF) is an initiative designed to develop and expand the leadership capabilities of Africans. The foundation supports and celebrates young Africans who have displayed the qualities of a leader by making a positive difference within their generation. They accomplish this by educating as well as youth empowerment and mentorship.

The foundation honours these young leaders with an award ceremony known as The Future Africa Leaders’ Award. The InnerCity Mission for children is a religious-based non-governmental Organisation (NGO). The NGO was birthed in 2005, with the intention of reaching the needy, poor children, orphaned and vulnerable living as homeless around the globe..

The foundation helps these destitute children and their families through long-lasting and inclusive interventions, which include child development programs, childcare programmes, family strengthening programmes, InnerCity Mission for Children School, etc.

Trauma Care International Foundation

The Trauma Care International Foundation was established to enhance the standard of living and the overall health of communities as well as nations through promoting improved emergency response services for incidents and emergency situations. The foundation is able to help in the implementation of national policies on trauma treatment by providing their advocacy and health education as well as community-based initiatives.

Over a thousand hours of training for emergency safety and security have been given by the foundation. Their records show that they were able to educate thousands of teachers, students and law enforcement officers caregivers, road transporters.

Volunteer Medical Corps

The Volunteer Medical Corps, a Christian medical outreach is committed to providing aid supplies as well as medical aid and education for internally displaced people and refugees living in areas that have been affected by natural and man-made disasters.
