Pastor Chris The Man

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was born December 7th, 1963, in Edo State in Nigeria. He was raised in a family of faith with loving and dedicated parents. He is the son of Elder T.E Oyakhilome who was one of the pioneers in the Assemblies of God Church in Benin City. Angelina and the matriarch Oyakhilome were also his parents. The divine grace of her mother was passed down to her son in the early years of his life.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome started his studies at Edo College. Then he was awarded a scholarship to go to Bendel State University, now Ambrose Ali University. There he graduated with an BSc. in Architecture and an honorary Doctor of Science. He also holds an honorary doctorate in divinity awarded by the Benson Idahosa University. He was at Ambrose Ali University when he received his call from God to be a minister and servant of the Lord.

The Man of God created a number of NGOs to provide vital services and hope to the needy, poor and uninformed. Five partners form part of COFI, all working together to raise living standards in the most deprived areas.

COFI is responsible for the InnerCity Mission ICM for Children, the Volunteer Medical Corps VMC, Traumacare International Foundation TCIF, Future Africa Leaders Foundation (FALF) and along with the Bible For All Mission. Each of these organizations strives to improve people’s lives as well as their health, spirits and overall well-being.

The charity also offers financial assistance to children who are poor.
