Pastor Faith healer, pastor. Author. Television host. Chris Oyakhilome also known by his followers as Pastor Chris. Chris is the founder and president of LoveWorld Incorporated. He has inspired millions of people across the globe with his unique interpretation of the Word of God.

Pastor Chris: The Man

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was a child of faith who was raised in a loving family and was supported by his parents. He is the eldest child of elder T.E Oyakhilome and Angelina Oyakhilome. She was the pioneer of the Assemblies Of God Church in Benin City and a matriarch of Oyakhilome families. She passed on her divine grace on her son at an early age.

The LoveWorld ministry is a joint effort of the family. The Reverend brother of Ken (the revered pastor of Christ Embassy Houston, Texas Church) and a member of Christ Embassy Central Executive Council are his two sisters. KattyWorghiren, the director of LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry is the home of several international best-selling gospel musicians.

Pastor Chris is blessed with two daughters, Charlene and Carissa Sharon. Carissa Sharon chose to follow in her father’s footsteps in sharing God’s Word with all people. The name is CSO (Community Service Organization) She is a skilled gospel artist and a member of the LoveWorld Music and Arts community.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome attended Edo College and was awarded a scholarship by Bendel State University to study architecture. He also holds an honorary doctorate in divinity from the Benson Idahosa University. He was at Ambrose Ali University when he received a call from God to be a minister and serving the Lord.

Chris: The Pastor Chris: The Mentor

While in the university, the Man of God established what would eventually become the largest congregation in the world. It began with a small group of prayer known as ‘Youth for Christ’. Under Pastor Chris’s leadership, LoveWorld became a pioneer of satellite television and Christian programming. LoveWorldSAT became the first Christian television channel to be broadcast 24/7 from Africa through free-to-air channels. There are LoveWorld television stations on cable and satellite networks around the world.

Christ Embassy has a strong presence in Pastor Chris’s home country of Nigeria. It also operates two Healing Schools in South Africa, Canada and the United States. Pastor Chris is the instructor for seasonal sessions where miracles are possible.

Music and Gospel Music form an integral part in worship. Pastor Chris supports Christ Embassy Churches and Loveworld Music and Arts Ministry choir training. A lot of these singers are successful soloists under the guidance of Pastor Chris Oyakhilome’s direction.

The Future African Leaders Foundation, (FALF), is a non-profit organization that aims to continue the inspiring work of Pastor Chris. Its mission is to identify and developing talented, young leaders and preparing them to lead for the future with confidence by recognizing the achievements of these young leaders and encouraging them to continue. Oyakhilome Pastor Chris: Philanthropist

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome is a committed donor who established the Chris Oyakhilome Foundation (COFI) a nonprofit, nongovernmental foundation with the goal of aiding the most vulnerable communities and people in the most impoverished regions and nations around the world.

Alongside preaching the Gospel, the Man of God has created NGOs with a an aim of providing vital services and hope to the vulnerable, needy and forgotten souls. COFI is a partnership of five who are committed to improving living standards in some the most neglected regions.

COFI is the responsible organization for the InnerCity Mission ICM for Children, the Volunteer Medical Corps VMC, Traumacare International Foundation TCIF, Future Africa Leaders Foundation (FALF) and along with the Bible For All Mission. Each of these organizations strives to improve the wellbeing, health, and spirits, especially those most at risk.

His charitable organization offers food and shelter to the most vulnerable. Chris Oyakhilome Pastor Chris believes that strong community foundations are backed by COFI and The InnerCity Mission. This encourages accountability and good governance. The charity also helps to promote sustainable development in Africa as well in other areas of vulnerability in the world, in accordance to the Sustainable Development Goals.
