Pastor Chris Oyakhilome (December 7 63, Nigeria) was born to a family of faith and loving, devoted parents. Chris Oyakhilome He is the oldest son born to the elder T.E Oyakhilome, one of the pioneers of the Assemblies Of God Church in Benin City, and Angelina the matriarch of the Oyakhilome family, who imparted her divine grace on her son from a young age.

The whole family is actively engaged with the LoveWorld ministry. His brother, Reverend Ken is the renowned Pastor of Christ Embassy’s Houston, Texas Church and an active member of Christ Embassy Central Executive Council, and his sister, KattyWorghiren, is the director of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry (LMAM), where there are a number of global best-selling gospel artists.

Pastor Chris has two children, Carissa Sharon und Charlene. Carissa Sharon, who is also referred to by CSO she has chosen to follow the footsteps of her father, sharing the gospel of God the world. She is a talented gospel singer who has won awards and is a member of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Family.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome began his education at Edo College. Then he was awarded a scholarship that allowed him to go to Bendel State University, now Ambrose Ali University. There he graduated with a BSc. in Architecture as well as an honorary Doctor of Science. He also holds an honourary doctorate in divinity from Benson Idahosa University. Ambrose Ali University was his first university. He received a call from God to enter the ministry and to serve the Lord.

In addition to preaching the Gospel message, the Man Of God has also set up a variety of non-profit organizations which are charged with providing vital services and hope for those who are the least vulnerable and marginalized people. Five partners form part of COFI and are working to improve living standards in the poorest areas.
