Fan Tan is an old card game where players compete to be the first player to remove all cards in their hand without passing them to the other players. Initially, the four sevens are the only ones that can be legally played and after that, the six and eight are able to be played, and then A (low) as well as the K (sharp) and Q (open) for clubs, as well as the R (low). After that, each participant can choose to play with their own set of cards, deciding to either have seven cards dealt to them, or any number of cards they want to draw from the deck. If one player has drawn more cards than they have cards left in the deck, they’ll have to go through the deck and remove the ones they need from the stack by picking them out one by one. After all cards have been removed from the deck then the dealer will shuffle the pack , and hand out another five cards to each player. When all the cards are dealt, the rounds will begin again. If there’s any draw on a second card then the game will be over and one team will take the win. The other team must change roles prior to the next round.
