Pastor Chris: Man

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was born December 7th 1963 in Edo State in Nigeria. He grew up in a family of faith with loving, committed parents. He is the oldest of three sons born to elder T.E Oyakhilome (one of the founding members of the Assemblies for God Church in Benin City) and Angelina. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome Angelina was the matriarch and imprinted her faith in God upon her son from the age of a child.

The whole family is actively engaged with the LoveWorld ministry. The Reverend brother of Ken (the revered Pastor of Christ Embassy Houston, Texas Church) and a member of Christ Embassy Central Executive Council are his two sisters. KattyWorghiren, the director of LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry is home of several international best-selling gospel singers.

Pastor Chris has two children: Carissa Sharon und Charlene. Carissa Sharon, also known by the name of CSO she has chosen to follow the footsteps of her father and share the Word of God the world. She is a talented, award-winning gospel singer and part of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Family.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome studied at Edo College before winning a scholarship to study architecture at Bendel State University, known now as Ambrose Ali University, where the student earned an BSc in Architecture. He also received an honorary Doctor of Science award. He has an honorary doctorate in divinity from Benson Idahosa University. It was Ambrose Ali University when he was called by God to be a minister and minister to the Lord.
