Pastor, faith-healer, author and TV presenter Chris Oyakhilome (also known as Pastor Chris) is the creator of LoveWorld Incorporated. The company, which is also known as Christ Embassy is based out of Lagos, Nigeria. His unique and inspiring telling of God’s Word has enthralled millions all over the world.

Pastor Chris: Man

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome is a Nigerian Christian who was born on December 63 in Edo State. He was nurtured by his parents who were devoted to him. He is the elder of three sons born to elder T.E Oyakhilome (one of the founding members of the Assemblies for God Church in Benin City) and Angelina. Angelina was the matriarch and imprinted her faith in God upon her son from a young age.

The LoveWorld ministry includes the entire family. His brother, Reverend Ken is the renowned Pastor of Christ Embassy’s Houston, Texas Church and a member of Christ Embassy Central Executive Council, and his sister, KattyWorghiren, is the director of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry (LMAM), which houses a variety of world-class gospel artists.

Pastor Chris has two daughters, Carissa Sharon and Charlene. Carissa Sharon has chosen to follow her father’s example of sharing the Gospel of God with the world Also called CSO, she is an accomplished gospel singer who has won awards and is a member of the LoveWorld Music and Arts family.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was educated in Edo College. He then received an award to study architecture at Bendel State University. He also has an honorary doctorate of divinity from Benson Idahosa University. It was Ambrose Ali University when he was called by God to become a minister and minister to the Lord.

A philanthropist who was passionate, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome started the Chris Oyakhilome Foundation International (COFI) which is Non-profit, non-governmental, non-profit organization with the mission to help those who are most vulnerable and communities in some of the most deprived regions and countries in the world.
