Pastor Chris Oyakhilome grew up on the 7 thDecember 1973. He was the first member of his family to be born. He completed his elementary and secondary education at Ambrose Alli University. After his graduation, he received an BSc Architecture.

AAU has also conferred on him with an honourary Doctor of Science. He also holds an honorary doctorate from Benson Idahosa University in divinity. The Reverend Chris was once married to Anita Obhodaghe, and they have two children.

Chris Oyakhilome Ministry

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome began his ministry when he was an undergraduate student at AAU. The Believers’ LoveWorld Fellowship was then known as Youths For Christ (YFC).

YFC rapidly grew and eventually became the largest college group. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy. Lagos is the headquarters of the church. Oyakhilome Believer’s LoveWorld is now a global ministry with thousands of members and associates around the world.

In the context of the 2002 the miracles show, BLW became Africa’s most well-known Christian ministry. The show was canceled by the president Olusegun Obasanjo in May 2004.

The Future Africa Leaders Foundation has been established to investigate and expand the leadership capabilities of Africans. The foundation honors, acknowledges and assists young Africans who are exemplary leaders by positively influencing their generation. They do this by educating and guiding youngsters and encouraging youth empowerment.

The InnerCity Mission For Children

The InnerCity Mission for Children is a religious-based non-governmental Organisation (NGO). The organization was established in 2005 with the intention of helping the most vulnerable, the poorest, orphaned, and least fortunate children in the world.

The foundation aids these children and their communities by implementing sustainable and inclusive interventions, which include child development programs as well as childcare programs Family strengthening programmes, InnerCity Mission for Children School and more.

Trauma Care International Foundation

The TraumaCare International Foundation was created in order to increase the life expectancy and health status of local communities. The foundation’s mission is to assist national policies on trauma care by promoting health education in the community, community-based programs and advocacy.

The foundation has provided more than a thousand First Aid safety, emergency response training. They have been credited with training over 1,000 schoolchildren, law enforcement officers and teachers, as well as caregivers, teachers and road traffic officers.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome Through this, the mission helps them to learn about the Bible and to be able to experience the life-changing message that Jesus has for us.

BFAM has distributed hundreds of thousands free copies of Rhapsody Bible in communities, prisons, hospitals and other institutions around the globe which includes South Africa, Nigeria, Gambia and Ghana. Through a network of Bible sponsors and volunteers around the world this project was made feasible.
