Pastor Chris The Man

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome (December 7 63, Nigeria) was born to a family of faith and loving parents who were devoted to their children. He is the elder of three sons who was born to Elder T.E Oyakhilome (one of the founders of the Assemblies of God Church in Benin City) and Angelina. Angelina was the matriarch and imprinted her grace upon her son from an early age.

The LoveWorld ministry is actively supported by all members of the family. His brother, Reverend Ken is the renowned pastor of Christ Embassy’s Houston, Texas Church and an active member of Christ Embassy Central Executive Council and his sister, KattyWorghiren, is the director of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry (LMAM), where there are a number of top gospel artists in the world.

Pastor Chris has two daughters, Carissa Sharon and Charlene. Carissa Sharon has decided to follow her father’s example of sharing the Gospel of God with the world, also called CSO She is an accomplished, award-winning gospel singer and an active member of the LoveWorld Music and Arts family.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome started his studies at Edo College. Then he was granted a scholarship to go to Bendel State University, now Ambrose Ali University. Pastor Chris: The Mentor

While still in university While still in university, the Man of God began what would become the largest church worldwide. It started with a small group of prayer called ‘Youth for Christ’. The group would later grow to be the basis for LoveWorld Incorporated and Christ Embassy with a later number of millions of followers worldwide.

Under the direction of Pastor Chris, under the direction of Pastor Chris, the LoveWorld ministry was a pioneer in satellite TV and Christian programming and production. LoveWorldSAT was the first Christian television channel that broadcasts 24/7 from Africa through free-to-air channels. Today, there are LoveWorld television stations available across satellite and cable networks across the world.

Christ Embassy has a strong presence throughout Pastor Chris’s native Nigeria. The church operates two Healing Schools that are located in South Africa and Canada, in which Pastor Chris organizes seasonal sessions during which miracles are performed.

Music and Gospel Music are also an essential part of worship. Pastor Chris encourages Christ Embassy Churches to have a choir trained by the Loveworld Music and Arts Ministry and, under the guidance and direction of Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, many of these singers go on to pursue successful solo career.

The Future African Leaders Foundation(FALF) is an organization that focuses on the continuing amazing work of Pastor Chris. It is a place to recognize and support young, brilliant leaders. Pastor Chris invests in youth today, to prepare them to be the leaders of tomorrow.

The Man, God, has created a number of NGOs with the aim to provide essential aid and provide hope. COFI is supported by five partners, each of whom is committed to improving the living standard in the most remote areas.
