Pastor Chris Oyakhilome (December 7 63, Nigeria) was born to a family of faith and loving, devoted parents. He was the oldest of four children born to the elder T.E Oyakhilome, one of the first pioneers of the Assemblies Of God Church in Benin City, and Angelina, and the mother of the Oyakhilome family, who imparted her faith in God’s grace upon her son from an early age.

The LoveWorld ministry is supported by all members of the family. His brother Reverend Ken (the revered pastor of Christ Embassy Houston, Texas Church) and a member of the Christ Embassy Central Executive Council are his two sisters. KattyWorghiren, the director of LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry is home of several best-selling gospel artists.

Pastor Chris has two daughters: Carissa Sharon and Charlene. Carissa Sharon is following to follow the route of her father in sharing the gospel of God to the world. Also known CSO, she is a Grammy-winning gospel artist and is a part of LoveWorld Music and Arts.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was educated in Edo College. He then received an award to study architecture in Bendel State University. He also has an honorary doctorate in divinity from the Benson Idahosa University. While attending Ambrose Ali University, he received a call from God to enter into the ministry and be an obedient servant of the Lord.

Pastor Chris The Mentor

While he was at university, the Man of God created what would become one of the largest churches around the world. He began an informal prayer group called “Youth for Christ” which would later become the most well-known group of its kind on campus. It was also the foundation for the future Christ Embassy and LoveWorld Incorporated with millions of followers all over the globe.

The LoveWorld ministry was established under the direction of Pastor Chris. It’s a pioneer in satellite TV, Christian TV production and programming. LoveWorldSAT broadcast the first Christian television station that reaches from Africa to the rest of the world all the time via free-to-air networks. In the present, LoveWorld stations can be seen on satellite and cable television networks throughout the world.

Christ Embassy has strong presences in Pastor Chris’s home country of Nigeria as well as South Africa, Canada, the United Kingdom and the United States.
