Pastor, faith healer, author, and television host, Chris Oyakhilome is known to his fans as Pastor Chris, is the founder and president of LoveWorld Incorporated, also called Christ Embassy, based in Lagos, Nigeria. Pastor Chris: The Man

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was born December 7th, 1963, in Edo State in Nigeria. He was raised in a faith-filled family with loving, committed parents. He is the child of Elder T.E Oyakhilome who was one of the first pioneers of the Assemblies of God Church in Benin City. Angelina and the matriarch Oyakhilome were also his parents. God’s grace was passed down to her son at an early age.

The whole family is actively involved with the LoveWorld ministry. His brother, Reverend Ken, is the esteemed pastor of Christ Embassy’s Houston, Texas Church and a member of Christ Embassy Central Executive Council, and his sister, KattyWorghiren, is the director of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry (LMAM), which is home to several top gospel artists in the world.

Pastor Chris is blessed with two daughters, Charlene and Carissa Sharon. Carissa Sharon decided to follow her father’s example in sharing God’s Word to the world. The name is CSO (Community Service Organization) She is a gifted gospel singer and is a part of the LoveWorld Music and Arts community.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome began his studies at Edo College. Then he was awarded a scholarship that allowed him to study at Bendel State University, now Ambrose Ali University. There he graduated with an BSc. in Architecture, as well as an honorary Doctor of Science. Oyakhilome He also holds an honourary doctorate in divinity degree from Benson Idahosa University. It was Ambrose Ali University when he received a call from God to be a priest and minister to the Lord.
