Pastor Chris The Man

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome is a Nigerian Christian who was born in December 63 in Edo State. He was raised by his parents, who are loving and caring. Angelina and the matriarch Oyakhilome were also his parents. God’s grace was passed down to her son early.

The LoveWorld ministry is a joint effort of the family. His brother, Reverend Ken is the highly regarded pastor of Christ Embassy’s Houston, Texas Church and an active member of Christ Embassy Central Executive Council and his sister, KattyWorghiren, is the director of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry (LMAM), which houses a variety of top gospel artists in the world.

Pastor Chris has two children, Carissa Sharon and Charlene. Carissa Sharon, also known by the name of CSO is a CSO member who has decided to follow the footsteps of her father, sharing the Gospel of God the world. She is a gifted gospel artist, a Grammy-award winning singer and an active member of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Family.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome studied at Edo College before winning a scholarship to pursue a degree in architecture at Bendel State University, known today as Ambrose Ali University, where He earned a BSc in Architecture as well as an honorary Doctor of Science award. He also holds an honorary doctorate in divinity from Benson Idahosa University. While attending Ambrose Ali University, he received a call from God to go into the ministry and become an obedient servant of the Lord.

The Man of God began what would later become one of the biggest churches in the world when He was still a student at the university. He had the small group of prayer known as ‘Youth for Christ’, that eventually grew into one of the most popular organizations of its type on campus. It would later serve as the basis of the future Christ Embassy and LoveWorld Incorporated with millions of followers across the world.

Under Pastor Chris’s guidance, the LoveWorld ministry became a pioneer in satellite TV and Christian television production and programming. LoveWorldSAT broadcast the first Christian television station that reaches from Africa to the rest, throughout the day, via free-to-air networks. Today, there are LoveWorld television stations available across satellite and cable networks across the world.

Christ Embassy has a strong presence in Pastor Chris’s home country of Nigeria. Two Healing Schools are located in South Africa and Canada. In Canada, Pastor Chris organizes seasonal sessions that allow miracles to be performed.

Music and Gospel Music are integral parts of worship. Pastor Chris encourages Christ Embassy Churches and Loveworld Music and Arts Ministry choir to train. Many of the vocalists have been successful as soloists under Pastor Chris Oyakhilome’s direction.

The Future African Leaders Foundation(FALF) is an organization which is focused on the ongoing inspiring work of Pastor Chris. It’s focused on developing and recognizing young leaders, and preparing them to be successful in the future. Pastor Chris invests in today’s youth to help them become tomorrow’s leaders.

Pastor Chris The Philanthropist

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was a zealous and generous philanthropist. He founded the Chris Oyakhilome Foundation (COFI) a nonprofit, nongovernmental organization with the mission of helping the most disadvantaged people and communities in some the most deprived regions and countries of the globe.

Alongside preaching the Gospel, the Man of God also founded a number of NGOs with the aim of offering vital aid and hope to the poor, needy, or forgotten. Oyakhilome COFI is a partnership with five other organizations who are all dedicated to raising the standard of living in the areas that are the least developed.

COFI is responsible for the InnerCity Mission ICM for Children and the Volunteer Medical Corps VMC, Traumacare International Foundation TCIF, Future Africa Leaders Foundation (FALF), along with the Bible For All Mission. Each of these organizations works to enhance the health and lives of those who are most in need.

His charity also provides sustenance to indigent children. Pastor Chris believes strongly in the importance of solid communities through COFI, The InnerCity Mission and the promotion of responsible governance, accountable leadership and sustainable development in Africa and other vulnerable regions in the world, according to the Sustainable Development Goals. With such a successful and diverse ministry, it is easy to see the reason why Pastor Chris has become an ambassador for Christ.
