Pastor, faith-healer, author and a television host Chris Oyakhilome (also called Pastor Chris) is the founder of LoveWorld Incorporated. The company, which is also known as Christ Embassy is based out of Lagos, Nigeria. His unique method of sharing the Word of God has inspired millions across the world.

Chris Oyakhilome Pastor Chris The Man

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome (December 7 63, Nigeria) was born to a faith-based family and loving, dedicated parents. He was the oldest of four children of the elder T.E Oyakhilome, one of the first pioneers of the Assemblies of God Church in Benin City, and Angelina the matriarch of the Oyakhilome family, who imprinted her divine grace on her son from a young age.

The LoveWorld ministry is supported by the entire family. The Reverend brother of Ken (the revered Pastor of Christ Embassy Houston, Texas Church) and a member Christ Embassy Central Executive Council are his two sisters. KattyWorghiren, the director of LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry is the home of several international best-selling gospel artists.

Pastor Chris has two kids, Carissa Sharon and Charlene. Chris Oyakhilome Family Carissa Sharon decided to follow in her father’s footsteps in sharing God’s Word with all people. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome Also known as CSO (Community Service Organization), she is a talented gospel singer and part of the LoveWorld Music and Arts community.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome went to Edo College and was awarded the scholarship of Bendel State University to study architecture. He also has an honorary doctorate of divinity from the Benson Idahosa University. Ambrose Ali University was his first university. He received a call from God to be a minister and to serve the Lord.

While in the university While still in university, the Man of God started what would later turn out to be the biggest church in the world. It began as the formation of a small prayer group called ‘Youth For Christ’. The group would later grow to be the foundation for LoveWorld Incorporated and Christ Embassy with a later number of millions of followers worldwide.

Pastor Chris directed the LoveWorld ministry to become a pioneer in satellite television and Christian television programming and production. LoveWorldSAT was the first Christian television station that broadcast from Africa to the rest of the world, 24/7, continuously on free-to air networks. There are LoveWorld television stations on satellite and cable networks around the world.

Christ Embassy has strong presences in Pastor Chris’s homeland of Nigeria and also South Africa, Canada, the United Kingdom and the United States. Two Healing Schools are situated in South Africa and Canada. In Canada Pastor Chris hosts special sessions throughout the year that allow miracles to be performed.

Chris Oyakhilome Music and Gospel Music play an integral aspect of worship. Pastor Chris is a strong advocate for gospel music. Christ Embassy Churches have a choir trained and supervised by the Loveworld Music and Arts Ministry. A lot of the singers are successful in their solo career.

Oyakhilome The Future African Leaders Foundation (FALF) is an organization that is focused on sustaining the inspirational work of Pastor Chris. It is a place to recognize and support young, talented leaders. Pastor Chris invests in the youth of today so that they can be tomorrow’s leaders.

A philanthropist who was passionate Pastor Chris Oyakhilome founded the Chris Oyakhilome Foundation International (COFI) which is an non-profit, non-governmental organisation that was founded to assist the most vulnerable people and communities in some of the poorest countries and regions of the world.

Apart from preaching the Gospel message, the Man Of God has also established a number of NGOs that are tasked with providing essential services and hope to those who are the least vulnerable and marginalized people. The five COFI partners have a common goal: to raise living standards and enhance the standard of living in the most disadvantaged areas.

COFI supervises the InnerCity Mission, ICM for Children The Volunteer Medical Corps and Trauma International Foundation (TCIF), Future Africa Leaders Foundation , and the Bible For All Mission. His charity also provides support for children who are in need. Oyakhilome Pastor Chris believes that solid foundations of community are fostered by COFI and The InnerCity Mission.
