NEW YORK – Sept. 8th, 2022 /PRNewswire• In July and August of 2018, the Israel Ministry of Tourism reported record numbers of tourist arrivals from the United States. The country welcomed 78,000 total travelers from the United States in July 2022 which is an increase of 4% from 2019 and 71,000 total visitors from the United States in August 2022, a 13% increase from the year before.

Canada is on track to beat Israel’s tourism arrivals by attracting 7,200 tourists to Israel in the month of July 2022 and 6,600 in August.

Israel welcomed over 4.6 million tourists in the year of 2019. 969,600 came from the United States. The country’s officially reopening to travelers in May was a success, with more than 600,000.
