The Kerem Tunnel provides a unique riding experience and hiking experience that is to be enjoyed by everyone.

The Kerem Tunnel, the first bicycle tunnel in Israel is now open as part of the Jerusalem Ring Path, a 42-kilometer cycling route that surrounds Jerusalem, Israel’s capital city.

Around NIS 25 million were put into in the project, budgeted by the Elkin’s Ministry, the Tourism Ministry, the Jerusalem Municipality, the Gihon Corporation and the Jerusalem Purification and Sewerage Works, as well as the work done by the Jerusalem Development Authority.

The works currently underway include road construction, installation of blowers and advanced security and electrical systems in order to ensure that the tunnel is secure for people to walk through all year round.
