NEW YORK, Sept. 8th, 2022 /PRNewswire The Israel Ministry of Tourism announced today record-breaking tourism arrivals from the United States visiting Israel in the months of July and August. 78,000 visitors from the United States visited Israel in July 2022. This represents a 4 percent increase over the year before and 71,000 visitors from the United States in august 2022. This is 13% more than 2019.

“It is so thrilling to see yet another increase in tourism to Israel from the United States, already reaching and exceeding our record-breaking numbers in 2019,” said Eyal Carlin, Tourism Commissioner for North America. “The United States has been the most important market for Israel’s tourism inbound. Before the COVID-19 outbreak, we had been celebrating record-breaking number of Israeli tourism entries every month.
