NEW YORK – Sept. 8th, 2022/PRNewswire• In July and August of 2018, the Israel Ministry of Tourism recorded record numbers of tourists arriving from the United States. 78,000 tourists from the United States visited Israel in July 2022. This is a 4 percentage increase over 2019, and 71,000 visitors from the United States in august 2022. This is 13% higher than in the year 2019.

Before the COVID-19 pandemic we had record numbers of Israeli tourists entering Israel each month. We are thrilled to see an improvement in the trend and expect this trend to last for many months and years.”

In the year 2019, Israel welcomed more than 4.6 million global tourists 969,600 of whom came from the United States, and since the country’s official opening to all travelers regardless of the status of their vaccination in May The country has seen more than 600,400 US tourists.
