    The Kerem Tunnel is a great place to ride and hike.

    The Kerem Tunnel is the first cycle tunnel to be constructed in Israel and was inaugurated as a part of the Jerusalem Ring Path, a 42-kilometer cycle route that circles the capital.

    The tunnel is located along the Nahal Refaim-Emek Mostza route. The southern entrance of the tunnel is below Ein Laban in Refaim Park. The northern entrance is located in Nahal Ein Kerem.

    On Thursday, Jerusalem and Heritage Minister Zeev Elkin, Mayor Michael, Avi Baleshnikov, Gihon chairman, and a slew of cyclists participated in a ceremony to inaugurate the tunnel’s 2.1-kilometer-long length.
