Chris Oyakhilome Background

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome is the first child of the Oyakhilomes having been born to Tim Oyakhilome and Chris Oyakhilome on the 7 th December 1973. He received his primary and secondary education at Ambrose Alli University. After graduation, he earned the degree of BSc Architecture.

While still at AAU Pastor Chris Oyakhilome began his path into ministry. The Believers LoveWorld Fellowship (now Believers LoveWorld Incorporated) was at that time called Youths For Christ.

Chris Oyakhilome Family YFC has seen rapid growth and was the largest campus fellowship. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy. Lagos is the home of the headquarters of the church. Believer’s LoveWorld now has millions of associates and followers around the globe.

Through the”Atmosphere of Miracles” series, BLW became Africa’s most popular Christian ministry on television. The program was cancelled in the month of May, 2004 by the President of Nigeria, Olusegun Obasanjo who announced that churches would cease broadcasting miracles on television.

Pastor Chris’s Ministry is comprised of four components that include publishing ministry (healing ministry) TV ministry (teaching ministry) and healing ministry (publishing ministry). These ministries are what Pastor Chris used to establish the healing school, the environment for miracles, and Pastor Chris’s global prayer network.

The Future Africa Leaders Foundation (FALF) is an initiative designed to develop and expand the leadership potentials Africans. The foundation recognizes, celebrates and encourages young African leaders who have made a an impact on the generation they lead. It does this through education, youth empowerment and mentoring.

The InnerCity Mission to children is a faith based nongovernmental Organisation. In 2005 the organization was founded to assist the poor homeless, depressed, orphaned and vulnerable children of .

Children and their families are helped by the foundation’s participative and sustainable interventions. These include programs for childcare as well as child development programs and family strengthening programmes.

Trauma Care International Foundation

The Trauma care International Foundation was founded to increase the health and life expectancy in local communities and nations. The foundation also advocates for improved emergency response in the case of accidents or emergencies. The foundation is able to accomplish this goal by helping to implement national policies on trauma care and health education.

Over a thousand hours of training in emergency and safety have been given by the foundation. The foundation has taught over 1000 instructors, law enforcement officers, caregivers, and road transportation employees.

Volunteer Medical Corps (VMC)

The Volunteer Medical Corps (christian medical outreach) is a world-wide christian organization that provides aid and medical assistance to people who are internally displaced or are refugees from regions that are affected by man-made or natural disasters.

The outreach comprises of a network of christian health workers, paramedics and students from across the globe. They provide medical assistance, emergency relief and sustainable healthcare solutions for communities and regions in need.

VMC also provides health services to communities underserved and manpower development for doctors in the local area. VMC outreach is available to everyone whose primary purpose is to improve health of the poor and to provide humanitarian assistance.

Bible For All Nation

Bible For All Mission (BFAM), a christian group, is committed to making, producing, and global distribution bibles for all ages. The Bible is available in every language and format they know about. The outreach is helping people learn to comprehend the Word of God and his life-changing message.

BFAM has distributed thousands of free copies of Rhapsody Bible to communities, hospitals, prisons, private and government institutions in several countries around the world that include Gambia, Ghana, Nigeria, South Africa, Philippines, Brazil, Egypt, Poland, Cambodia, Sri Lanka, and Turkey. Through a network of Bible sponsors and volunteers from all over the world the outreach was possible.
