Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was born on 7 7 of December 1973, to Mr and Mrs Tim Oyakhilome, as the first son of the family. He attended secondary and primary school. After that, he went to Ambrose Alli University (AAU) located in Ekpoma, Edo State of Nigeria in which he earned a BSc. in Architecture.

AAU also awarded him an honorary Doctor of Science. He also holds an honorary divinity degree from Benson Idahosa University. The Reverend Chris was married to Anita Obhodaghe once, and they have two children.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome entered into ministry while he was still in school at AAU. The Believers’ LoveWorld Fellowship was at the time known as Youths For Christ (YFC).

YFC was growing and eventually was the largest of the fellowships on campus. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy. Lagos is the location of the church’s headquarters. Believer’s LoveWorld is now a global ministry with millions of followers and associates around the world.

Through the”Atmosphere of Miracles” series, BLW became Africa’s most prominent Christian ministry via television. The program was pulled by President Olusegun Obasanjo in May 2004.

The Pastor Chris ministry Chris is split into four distinct areas that include publishing ministry, healing ministry television ministry teaching ministry, and television ministry. The Future Africa Leaders Foundation, an initiative aiming to boost the leadership potentials Africans, was created. The InnerCity Mission is a faith-based non-governmental Organisation (NGO). The NGO was started in 2005 with the intention to assist vulnerable, low-income, orphaned children in the world.

The foundation is able to help in the implementation of national policies in trauma care by supporting them through advocacy, health education, and community-based programs.

The foundation has carried out over a thousand first aid safety, emergency response training. Their record shows that they were able educate hundreds of teachers, students and law enforcement officers caregivers, road transport workers.

Volunteer Medical Corps (VMC).

The Volunteer Medical Corps is a global christian medical outreach that will provide relief materials, medical assistance and health education for individuals who are refugees or internally displaced in the regions affected by man-made or natural disasters.

Chris Oyakhilome Family The outreach consists of students from every Nation as well as paramedics, christian healthcare workers. They provide emergency assistance, medical aid and sustainable healthcare solutions to those living in areas and communities in need.
